In rural areas, many homes are in dire condition—some needing major repair and some in need of complete rebuilding.
To ensure the right families are helped, local GNI leaders within the communities identify and prioritize which households are most in need. This matters as it prevents outside assumptions and keeps decisions rooted in the real needs of the people who live there.
Housing repairs and rebuilds are a practical way to restore dignity and stability. Repairs help families remain safely housed and reduce the need for emergency relocation.
This work has become one of the newer components of our partnership with GNI, along with our ongoing focus with the elderly, youth, and vocational programs. Our overriding message is always to encourage and remind these dear ones that they "Matter to God"!
How you can help
