"This July we had a team of four returnees who were excited to see how God was going to work in the lives of the youth. The team went with a simple message: God sees You! With that message, and in partnership with young adults from the Free Methodist Church, the camps were a success.
The camps went three days over two different locations and reaching over 300 kids and young adults. Each day included worship, Bible skits, teaching, testimony, small groups, food, and play. The team covered the stories of Gideon, Zaccheaus, and Peter in the boat.
The camps hold value for many reasons. The teams not only invest in the lives of the kids that come to the camp, but invest and partner with the young adults that help run the camps. Every person involved, whether participant or volunteer, is seen by God, loved by God, and valued, and these camps are one way our team is able to showcase that to the people of Rwanda."
