Not Forgotten

Ministry of Presence with Young Moms

A circle of young women sat together and shared their stories. Many were still carrying fresh trauma, and many were trying to raise babies while they themselves were still children.

During the visit, the focus was not on an agenda, a program, or a presentation. It was simply presence—listening, caring, and showing them they mattered.

A member of the team sat with the young women and sang to them. The song was in English, and they didn’t understand the words, but they understood the meaning. You could see it in their faces: they were being seen and valued.

Afterward, the team prayed over every young woman individually. One by one, each young woman received prayer, a hug, and the reassurance that she had not been forgotten.

This is what the Ministry of Presence looks like in real life. Returning year after year matters. It tells people who have been abandoned, rejected, or pushed aside that they still matter—to God, and to others.
